Last updated September 2026

Short answer: SiteScope Tech is for architects, designers and interior trades who scan with an iPhone Pro and need what comes after the scan: a measured plan, a point cloud, a photoreal walkthrough and files for their tools, or a takeoff and a quote. If you need marketing tours, object scans or insurance sketches, another tool may fit better, and these pages say so.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does SiteScope Tech do?
You scan a space with an iPhone Pro or iPad Pro. SiteScope Tech gives you a measured floor plan, a point cloud (E57, LAZ, PLY), a photoreal walkthrough you share by link, and IFC, DXF, GLB and PDF files that work with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and ArchiCAD. Interior trades also get takeoffs and quotes from the same scan.
How do you keep these comparisons fair?
We only state competitor features, formats and prices that we can find on that vendor's own site, help center or App Store listing, and we date-stamp them. Each page has a section on where the other product is stronger. We make SiteScope Tech, so check with each vendor before you buy.
