Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan is free forever and never asks for a credit card. Try the mobile app and the web app before deciding.
What is included in the Free plan?
Room scanning on an iPhone or iPad Pro that turns each room into a measured floor plan automatically, plus PDF reports, share links, photo documentation, and access from both the web and mobile apps. Free covers up to 3 projects, with 1 room scan, 1 point cloud, and 1 floor plan per project. Pro and Business lift those limits.
Which phone or tablet do I need?
3D scanning uses the LiDAR sensor on iPhone Pro (iPhone 12 Pro and newer) and iPad Pro (2020 and newer). Reviewing, editing, and sharing happen in the web app in any modern browser, so the rest of your team does not need a Pro device. An Android app is available for photos and viewing projects, but LiDAR capture requires an iPhone or iPad Pro.
Which exports are included?
Free includes measured floor plans and PDF reports. IFC and DXF exports that open in Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, and SketchUp, and E57 point cloud files for ReCap, are on Pro and Business plans. Photoreal walkthroughs are on Business. See scan to CAD for what each format is for.
What is Pro and how do I get it?
Pro is the plan for solo professionals. It raises the limits to 20 projects and 5 room scans per project, and adds IFC, DXF, and E57 exports, web takeoffs, the report builder, quotes, unlimited material assignment, guest scanning, custom branding on PDFs, and 50 AI credits a month. Start on Free, and when you need more, upgrade to Pro in the SiteScope app.
Do you draft the CAD or Revit model for me?
No. SiteScope is software, not a drafting service. Your scan becomes a measured plan you refine in the editor, and it exports as IFC for Revit and ArchiCAD, DXF for AutoCAD and SketchUp, and E57 for ReCap. You stay in control of the files and the timeline.
Who owns my scans and files?
You do. You keep all rights to the content you capture and upload, and we only use it to run the service. Exported files are yours to use in any tool, and you can delete projects at any time. Details are in our terms and privacy policy.
How does the Business plan work?
Business is for teams. It includes everything in Pro, plus team seats, shared projects, and photoreal walkthroughs. We tailor pricing to how you work: book a demo and we will walk through your scan volume, seats, and workflow, and price it around that. Members work under the team plan without upgrading their own accounts.
What happens to my data if I switch plans?
Your data is always safe. If you ever exceed the limits of your plan you can still view everything, but you will need to upgrade or free up space to create new projects.
Can my client scan for me?
Yes, on Pro and Business. Send a guest scanning invitation and your client scans with their own iPhone or iPad Pro. They install the free SiteScope app but do not need to create an account, and the scan lands in your project. See how guest scanning works.
